Don O’Hara

MSc, Senior Research Associate, Real-World Evidence

Don has more than 30 years’ experience designing and developing private and commercial software, with over 10 years working in the life sciences domain, developing pharmacovigilance and cost-effectiveness tools for the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Evidera, Don served as a senior software engineer for United BioSource Corporation and also ProSanos, responsible for the design and development of innovative data analytic software for clients in the pharmaceutical industry. Much of his focus has been on data conversion into the OMOP Common Data Model format, and facilitating access to large, disparate longitudinal data sources. He has served as a contributing member of the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) and the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) Program.

Don received his BS degree in computer science from the University of Scranton, and an MS in computer science from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
