Sherry Wu

Sherry holds an MPH in epidemiology and a certificate in comparative effectiveness and outcome research from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She earned her BS in public health from the University of Washington in 2014. Prior to joining Evidera, Sherry worked with the World Health Organization and the New York City Department of Health. She conducted a cost-effectiveness study on incorporating a new vaccination strategy into China’s national immunization program with WHO on the Polio Eradication and Endgame Strategic Plan project. She also assisted planning the WHO Pre-qualification Workshop and the 2016 World Hepatitis Day Media Campaign. As part of the health research training program, Sherry worked with the New York Department of Health to assist updating the NYC Breastfeeding Resource Guide and implementing the WHO Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative Program. She has experience in a number of health economic modeling techniques, including decision trees, Markov models, cost-effectiveness analysis, and Monte Carlo simulation. Sherry is also skilled in Excel, SAS, STATA, TreeAge Pro and other statistical software.
