Evidera’s Chief Scientist, Dr. J. Jaime Caro, will be instructing EPIB 654 – Pharmacoeconomics for Health Technology Assessment through McGill University from June 14-18. This virtual course introduces the basic economic problem of determining reasonable pharmaceutical prices and ways of addressing it, including cost per QALY approach and newer alternatives. Methods for deriving required inputs (i.e., costs, effectiveness, utilities) and modeling structures for putting them together, including newly-developed DICE simulation are covered.
