Emma L. Low
Emma’s responsibilities include project and client management, involvement in the development of proposals, protocols, manuscripts, and client reports, as well as literature reviews, data collection (including focus groups and patient interviews) and analyses. Prior to joining Evidera, Emma worked as a management consultant within the real-world evidence team at a leading healthcare consultancy. In this role, she was a primary point of contact for clients and was involved in delivering data gap analyses workshops; designing observational research projects; proposal, protocol, and report writing; as well as overseeing dissemination deliverables, such as manuscripts, abstracts, and posters. Emma was also responsible for co-designing and delivering an internal training course on qualitative research design, data collection, and analyses to encourage increased use of these methodologies where appropriate. Emma holds a PhD and MSc in health psychology, both undertaken at University College London. She has spent several years working in health research within clinical, academic, and industry settings, including the health psychology department at Guy’s Hospital, the Institute of Psychiatry, the UCL School of Pharmacy, and King’s College London. She is a lead author on several articles in high impact, peer-reviewed journals, including BMJ Open, British Journal of Cancer and the European Journal of Cancer. Emma has also delivered a number of oral and poster presentations at several scientific conferences, including the UK Society for Behavioral Medicine and Division of Health Psychology.
