Rachel Huelin
Rachel’s responsibilities include acting as a lead researcher and principal investigator as well as a senior advisor/peer-reviewer on qualitative and quantitative (meta-analysis and indirect treatment comparisons) systematic literature reviews as well as targeted literature reviews. These reviews often support regulatory or payer submissions or are disseminated at conferences or in manuscripts. As part of these responsibilities, Rachel directs study design and analysis, oversees the scientific integrity and quality of all deliverables, and manages staff resources, budget, and timelines. Rachel has extensive experience in numerous therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular, oncology, neurology, and autoimmune disorders. Rachel’s work has been published in the peer-reviewed literature as well as scientific conferences, including American Journal of Managed Care, BMC Neurology, Clinical Therapeutics, Expert Opinions in Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, Multiple Sclerosis International, and Pain Practice.
Prior to joining Evidera, Rachel was a senior study director for Synovate Inc., a global market research firm (now part of Ipsos). She was responsible for the management and execution of quantitative market research projects, including survey design, analysis, and reporting. Previously, she worked as a project manager for MetaWorks Inc., a company that was acquired by UBC in 2006. During her time at MetaWorks, she supported literature reviews and database projects. She gained extensive experience in systematic review methodology and meta-analysis, and was involved in all aspects of projects, from the project inception/proposal phase through report/manuscript writing. Rachel earned a BA in psychology from Skidmore College.
