Sonja V. Sorensen
Sonja leads the development of economic models of new and established products for submissions to reimbursement agencies and other decision makers, generating reports and manuscripts, and providing oversight and leadership for other economic evaluation research. She has extensive experience in decision-analytic modeling across numerous therapeutic areas, including oncology (including prostate, melanoma, breast, lymphoma, metastatic colorectal, non-small cell and brain cancers), cardiovascular diseases (atrial fibrillation, hypertension, dyslipidemia) and chronic and acute infectious disease (hepatitis, complicated skin infections, pneumonia).
Having worked as a project manager in the London office, Sonja also gained experience in conducting multinational studies. Her research has been presented at a number of conferences such as the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and American Heart Association Scientific Meetings. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Archives of Internal Medicine, American Heart Journal, Thrombosis and Haemostasis and Heart. She holds a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
